Announcement of dean for new College of Dental Medicine covered by ADA News

The American Dental Association's on Feb. 7, 2011 published a story on ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's announcement that James J. Koelbl, D.D.S., M.S., M.J. of Claremont, Calif., had been named dean of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's new College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Koelbl is the founding dean of the College of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, Calif. and will join ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ in April. 

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ intends to open the college in the fall of 2013 and plans to seek initial accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation this year. A fundraising campaign for the school is under way. At the time of the announcement, $6.8 million had been raised.
