Kaleigh Beadlecomb completed her B.S. in Cytotechnology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2007 and was immediately accepted to UAB’s MS in Physician Assistant Studies class of 2010…but decided to divert her life path for a time during which she became a doula and childbirth educator and studied midwifery across the U.S. in Florida, Mississippi, and Oregon. She finally circled back to physician assistant studies and completed her MSPAS at UAB in 2018. Since then, she has enjoyed working full time in both radiation oncology and hospitalist medicine, with a brief stint in school-based healthcare in an underserved urban school district just outside Birmingham, AL which was unfortunately cut short by the COVID pandemic. After an extended trip abroad with her family, she relocated from Alabama to Maine in December 2025 where she is excited to help train new clinicians to work in underserved areas.

Kaleigh brings her love of creativity in education to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ where she enjoys crafting (sometimes literally!) hands-on experiences for students in lab and finding ways to make learning more engaging for the modern student. Outside of work, she is a serial hobbyist most recently obsessed with pottery, a long time knitter, and loves to dance and travel with her husband and four children.
